Springwinter is a Platform-as-a-Service control plane that deploys and manages cloud infrastructure directly inside your own AWS account. Instead of routing your traffic and data through a shared vendor environment, Springwinter provisions real AWS resources — ECS services, RDS databases, ElastiCache caches, S3 buckets, and CloudFront distributions — under your control, then monitors and manages them on your behalf. You get the developer experience of a modern PaaS without surrendering ownership of your infrastructure.

How Springwinter differs from traditional PaaS

Traditional PaaS platforms run your code on infrastructure they own. That means your data transits their network, you pay their markup on compute, and migrating away requires rebuilding your stack from scratch. Springwinter inverts this model. You connect your AWS account once, and every resource Springwinter creates belongs to you from the first second. Your data never leaves your AWS account. Your costs appear directly on your AWS bill with no platform surcharge on infrastructure. If you ever stop using Springwinter, every resource it created continues running in your account — there is no lock-in at the infrastructure layer. Springwinter handles the complexity that makes “just use AWS directly” impractical for small teams: networking, IAM policies, container orchestration, TLS certificates, auto-scaling, cost visibility, and deployment pipelines — all managed through a clean dashboard and a fully documented REST API.

Web Servers

Containerized HTTP services running on Amazon ECS with an Application Load Balancer and automatic TLS.

Workers

Background processing services running on ECS with no public URL — queues, cron jobs, and event handlers.

Static Websites

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript sites served from S3 and accelerated by CloudFront with automatic HTTPS.

Caches

Valkey (Redis-compatible) caches on ElastiCache with TLS enforced, accessible from your other services.

Databases

PostgreSQL and MySQL databases on Amazon RDS, provisioned in your VPC with automated backups.

Storage

Private S3 buckets with scoped access policies for assets, uploads, and build artifacts.
All resources stay in your AWS account. Springwinter reads logs, metrics, and cost on demand — it does not mirror or store your application data.
